PROJECT SAYSAY TO OPEN VALENZUELA’S NATIONAL ARTS MONTH PROGRAM

In partnership with Museo Valenzuela Foundation, Inc. and the City Government of Valenzuela, Project Saysay (pSaysay) will hold its 3rd Volunteers’ Day activity on 26 February 2017, Sunday at the Museo Valenzuela. The said activity is among the ten (10) National Arts Month activities of Valenzuela. It will be the opening activity of the festivity.

Started in July 2016, Volunteers’ Day is a special program of pSaysay serving as platform for volunteers and partners of the advocacy to interact with through poster framing .

The Museo Valenzuela Foundation, Inc., the administrator of the museum devoted to national hero Dr. Pio Valenzuela, co-sponsored the materials to be used in the Volunteers’ Day. Valenzuela local artists and pSaysay volunteers and partners are expected to join the activity. It is opened to the public.

Since 2013, pSaysay has distributed 2,845 posters in the country. Apart from this mandate, pSaysay also organized and chaired the 1st National Youth Forum on Heritage National in 2015 whose inaugural meeting was hosted by the Museo Valenzuela.
