Film Creative Producer is the New Project Saysay Executive Director
John Paul E. Abellera is the new Project Saysay Executive Director. The nine-member Board of Directors of Project Saysay unanimously voted Abellera to succeed Ian Christopher Alfonso as the advocacy's Executive Director and concurrently Monitoring Director on 13 April 2019.
Abellera has been a volunteer of Project Saysay since 2017. He assumed the Directorship for Partnership in March 2018 and for Programs in March 2019, respectively. He is a heritage advocate on top of his profession in the film industry, being a Creative Manager of Star Cinema. Formerly involved in ABS-CBN’s educational TV shows Sineskwela and Hirayamanawari, Abellera is also a Lecturer at San Beda College-Alabang and once a Benedictine Novice.
